The main distinction between American and European types of roulette is the conventional numbering sequence which has no effect on the outcome of the game.
The wheel roulette is constructed in such a way that all the red, black, odd, even, small and big numbers are uniformly positioned. Every casino uses this typical design. The dealer spins the wheel in one direction while the ball rotates counterclockwise. In time, the speed of the ball decreases and it stops at one of the slots on the wheel.
European Roulette:
European Roulette or French roulette as it was called at the time it was introduced. It was started in 1655 when Blaise Pascal (a french scientist) invented roulette as a motion machine which moved for ever. Roulette is a word in french which means a “small wheel “. Roulette was introduced to America in Late 1800. The game got very popular among the people of America who were attracted to the game in order to try their luck and fortune. Since that time the one zero game is considered a European roulette as it is more popular and played more often in Europe and the double zero game played in America is called American Roulette.
